Beta blockers are among the most widely prescribed cardiac drugs, and a great many people taking them also train. The first thing they notice is that their heart-rate monitor stops making sense; the second is that hard aerobic work feels harder than the numbers suggest. Both are pharmacology, not weakness, and both have workable answers.
