Most antibiotics are irrelevant to training. Fluoroquinolones - ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, ofloxacin, moxifloxacin - are the exception, because they carry a documented risk to the very tissue athletes load hardest: tendon. The risk is uncommon, but it arrives on a predictable timetable, it has clear amplifiers, and it can end a season in a single push-off.
